1.0 BOOKINGS

 

1.1   A booking is only secured once full payment has been made.

1.2   An image of photo identification (government issued) must be provided upon booking with Rent Our Attire Au displaying residential address.

  • 1.2.1 Rent Our Attire Au will contact the client via their provided phone number to request this information. By booking with Rent Our Attire Au, the client accepts that this is a requirement.
  • 1.2.2 If the client fails to provide identification within the time frame provided by Rent Our Attire Au, the order may be cancelled and may be subject to admin fees; A refund will be provided minus these fees. Admin fees vary depending on the order.

1.3   We hold the right to cancel a booking for any reason at any time; if payment has been made the client will receive a full refund if Rent Our Attire Au is at fault for the cancellation.

 

2.0  BOOKINGS: PICK UP

 

2.1   Bookings will be ready for pick up one business day before a client’s event. Extensions to this may be possible but must be discussed and agreed upon prior to booking. The client will need to inform Rent Our Attire Au what time they aim to pick up their booking. Rent Our Attire Au reserves the rights to refuse pickup times outside of 9am to 7pm.

2.2   Rent Our Attire Au may request a client pick up on a specific day or time, however this will be discussed prior to a client booking and/or pick up date.

 

3.0  BOOKINGS: SHIPPING

 

3.1   Rent Our Attire Au will provide shipping costs upon making a booking.

3.2   The client will be provided a prefilled and prepaid express returns satchel to use when returning a rental.

3.3   Rent Our Attire Au will ship rentals via express post minimum two business days before the client’s event. Please note Rent Our Attire Au does not hold any responsibility or accountability for Australia Post delays. In the case where a client does not receive their rental via Australia Post before or on their event date, a credit will be provided for the cost of the hire excluding shipping fees. The credit will only be provided if the rental item has not been worn. Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to refuse to give a credit to a client if the rental item has signs of wear.

3.4   Rent Our Attire Au may ship a rental via express post as little as one business day prior to a client’s event if Australia Post Express Post next day guarantee applies. 

 

4.0   RETURNS: DROP OFF

 

4.1   Rent Our Attire Au upholds a next business day before 7pm returns policy from the event date the client has booked for. 

4.2   If an early return is agreed to prior to a booking, this must be adhered to otherwise late fees will apply.

4.3   Rent Our Attire Au reserves the rights to charge $15 per day (24 hours) a return is late.

4.4   If an item is returned more than 2 days late (48 hours), Rent Our Attire Au reserves the rights to charge the client the full hire price to compensate for potential lost bookings.

4.5   If a late return impacts a future booking, Rent Our Attire Au reserves the rights to charge the client the full hire price to compensate for a cancelled booking.

 

5.0   RETURNS: SHIPPING

 

5.1   Postal returns must be lodged in a post office, at the desk, by end of business day the first business day after their event, a lodgement receipt needs to be provided. 

5.2   The client must use the provided prefilled prepaid express satchel to return their rental. The client must fill in the sender information on the back of the satchel and sign the declaration of prohibited goods section on the front of the satchel. 

5.3   In the clients returns parcel, the client must put their rental item and branded zip lock bag. Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to charge the client 5$ if the branded zip lock bag is not returned with the rental. Rent Our Attire Au would also appreciate if thank you/care instructions cards are also returned with a client’s rental however if not returned no fees will be charged.

5.4   If a client decides to return an item via the post after receiving their rental, they will need to buy an express satchel and fill out all relevant information (Contact Rent Our Attire Au for shipping address) and follow all shipping terms and conditions. Proof of lodgement and tracking will need to be provided to Rent Our Attire Au. 

5.5   Postal returns are not to be put in a street box.

5.6   If shipping terms and conditions are not correctly followed, and delays occur because of this, Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to charge 15$ per day a return is delayed.  

5.7   If shipping terms and conditions are not correctly followed, and delays occur that impact a future booking, Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to charge the full hire amount as compensation for the cancelled booking. 

5.8   If a client decides to return an item via the post without organising prior to the booking, Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to charge $15 per day the item is late after the scheduled drop off date. If this impacts a future booking, Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to charge the full hire amount as compensation for the cancelled booking. 

5.9   If all shipping terms and conditions are followed and there are delays due to Australia Post, the client will not be charged any extra fees.

 

6.0  PAYMENT

 

6.1   Payments are made via out website or bank transfer (only for Try Ons)

6.2   All extra costs including late fees and or repair or replacement fees will be invoiced and must be paid within 24 hours of being informed of the costs. 

 

7.0  TRY ONS

 

7.1   Try on appointments incur a non-refundable 20$ fee. 

 

  • 7.1.1        This amount will go towards a booking made by 11:59pm the day of your try on appointment.
  • 7.1.2        If a booking is not made by 11:59pm the day of your try on appointment. the 20$ fee will not go towards the booking and will not be refunded.
  • 7.1.3        If items you want to try on are unavailable for your try on or event date we will refund your try on fee or reschedule your try on appointment at your request.

 

7.2   Prior to a try on appointment, the try on fee needs to be paid and a receipt of the transaction provided. 

7.3   Prior to a try on appointment Terms & Conditions need to be read and completed.

7.4   Try on appointments are run at our home studio; the following will not be tolerated.

 

  • 7.4.1        Excessive noise.
  • 7.4.2        Entering areas of the property without permission.
  • 7.4.3        Damage to property.
  • 7.4.4        Theft.
  • 7.4.5        Excessive mess.
  • 7.4.6        Releasing the business address to unapproved parties.
  • 7.4.7        Undisclosed or unauthorised people entering the studio.

 

7.5   Try on appointments run for 30 minutes.

7.6   If the client is running late to a try on appointment, the appointment will still end at the designated time. 

7.7   Large bags are not permitted during a try on appointment. 

7.8   If a client wishes to bring people to their try on appointment, they must contact Rent Our Attire Au seeking permission prior.

 

  • 7.8.1        No more than two people are allowed in the studio at one time. 
  • 7.8.2        Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to refuse entry to any additional people who arrive at a try on appointment without pre-approval.

 

7.9   Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to cancel any try on for any reason at any time.

7.10 Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to refuse entry into the studio to anyone.

7.11 Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to ask anyone to leave at any time during a try on for any reason.

7.12 Please do not wear fresh fake tan to a try on appointment; you will be asked to leave.

7.13 A try on does not secure or reserve a booking date, only full payment does. 

7.14 Any damages that occur during a try on will be treated the same as damage during a rental; refer to '8.0 DAMAGES'.

 

8.0  DAMAGES

 

8.1   All items may be subject to general wear at tear as they are rental pieces worn multiple times. General wear and tear is defined as any damage that Rent Our Attire Au deems to not affect the overall wear of an item. This may include but is not limited to discolouration, small or unnoticeable stains, fraying and pulls. General wear and tear that is slightly more significant is disclosed in the description of the garment. It is the clients responsibility to read this information and by processing an order the client is acknowledging the condition; photos can be provided upon request. No form of compensation will be offered for general wear and tear as this is already reflected in the price of garments.

8.2   If a client finds faults or damages that they believe result in their rental garment being unwearable, this must be communicated to Rent Our Attire Au before their event and the garment must be returned within 24 hours of pick up or delivery as per the Australia Post timestamp. Upon receiving an item back, Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to inspect the item and deem the item as either wearable or unwearable. If an item is deemed unwearable and terms and conditions have been followed a full refund excluding shipping fees will be provided. Photo evidence will also need to be provided by the client.

8.3   Upon picking up or receiving a rental, a client must still report any faults that do not affect wear (if there are any) with pictures the same day to Rent Our Attire Au or the client may be held liable for any faults and may be required to pay any associated repair or replacement costs.

8.4   Damages are defined as but are not limited to, broken zips, stains, pulls, tears and discolouration. If an item cannot be returned to its original wearable state, then these damages are considered irreparable damages.

8.5   Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to charge the client for any costs associated with the repair of a rental garment including extra cleaning costs. The rental price does not go towards this amount.

8.6   If irreversible damage occurs, Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to charge the client the full RRP of the item including associated delivery costs. The rental price does not go towards this amount.

8.7   If damage occurs that doesn't deem an item unwearable but instead reduces the condition and quality of a garment, Rent Our Attire Au reserves the rights to charge the client for both associated repair costs and partial compensation for the reduction in quality of the garment. Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to decide on this amount.

8.8   If repairs or replacement result in cancellations of bookings in the future, Rent Our Attire Au reserves the rights to charge the client for the cancellations for up to 3 bookings on top of any repair or replacement costs. If there is no need for cancellations, these fees will not be charged.

8.9   If a client damages a garment during their event, they must contact Rent Our Attire Au immediately so that any specific instructions on course of action can be discussed (for example cleaning instructions for a fresh stain).

 

9.0  CANCELLATION POLICY

9.1   Rent Our Attire Au has a no refund policy.

9.2   If a client cancels a booking more than 72 hours in advances, Rent Our Attire Au will provide the client with a credit for the full hire amount and any shipping costs will be refunded, provided the hire has not already been shipped or picked up.

9.3   If a client cancels a booking within 72 hours of their event date, no refunds or credits will be provided.

9.4   Rent Our Attire Au does not hold any responsibility or accountability if a rental item does not fit. Please be aware that 'Fits' is just a general guideline provided by Rent Our Attire Au and is not to be treated as fact. In the case that a client receives their rental, and it does not fit, there will be no refunds or credits. However, Rent Our Attire Au may be able to accommodate a swap depending on availability.

9.5   In the case where Rent Our Attire Au allows a swap of rental garment, any and all extra costs associated with the swap will need to be paid as well as a 15$ swap fee. Swaps are subject to availability. If Rent Our Attire Au cannot accommodate a swap the cancellation policy still applies.

9.6   If Rent Our Attire Au is responsible for cancelling a booking a full refund will be provided to the client.

9.7   A change in event date will be treated as a cancellation, hence the cancellation policy still applies.

 

10.0   MINORS

10.1 A client under the age of 18 is a minor.

10.2 If the client is a minor, this contract must be read with a parent or guardian and agreed to by both parties. The parent or guardian will also need to provide a copy of their government issued photo ID that confirms their residential address.

10.3 The parent or guardian is liable for any violations and associated fee’s the client (minor) causes.

 

11.0   Covid-19

11.1 Any cancellations due to a full lockdown as per government instructions, credits will be provided to affected clients and shipping fees refunded. If a hire has already been shipped, a credit will still be provided but shipping costs will not be refunded. This only applies if an item has not been worn and has been returned as per terms and conditions.

 

12.0   Cleaning 

12.1 Clients must not clean their garments after their event unless instructed to do so. Rent Our Attire Au cleans all garments before and after a booking.

 

13.0   Intellectual Property

13.1 Any images, videos or other content taken in Rent Our Attire Au’s garments by clients, models and collaborations/ambassadors are intellectual property of Rent Our Attire Au and can only be used by Rent Our Attire Au and the person in the photo.

13.2 Rent Our Attire Au reserves the right to report any individual or business who is wrongfully using these images.

 

12.0 Credits

12.1 Credits are only valid for 12 months from the date they are issued.

12.2 Credits can only be used once; If the garment a client hires with their credit is less than the value of the credit, the remaining amount becomes void and cannot be used again.

12.3 If a client wishes to hire a garment of greater value that their credit, the remaining amount must be paid by the client.

12.4 Credits cannot be applied to shipping costs no matter the value of the credit; Clients will still need to cover shipping costs when using a credit.
